“Work life balance” is a scam.

When they try to convince you that what you do to earn a living and your life need to be compartmentalized, for your own health, it’s a swindle.

The lie is promulgated by people who don’t want you to think about whether your work is good for your life. Just tuck your labor over here, attend to your life on nights and weekends, and everything will be OK…
