What this election means

While the left gloats, and the right litigates, it’s important to not lose sight of what actually just happened.

Donald Trump has been the most publicly hated president in history. While every demographic other than white males increased support from 2016 to 2020, the legacy media and twitterati has never before unleashed all their powers in such a sustained concentrated effort. If you live in a urban center and on your phone you may think no one on Earth liked him.

The Democratic ticket was quantifiably unwanted. Biden’s third run for the nomination found him losing his first four primaries, only to be saved by Bloomberg’s battering ram of cash. Kamala took stage left from her campaign before she got to her home state, to save embarrassment as her poll numbers were under 5%.

And yet these were are two choices this past week.

It’s not about what the populace wants.

You’re going to have to get that on your own.
