We must let bad ideas air out.

Anaerobic environments cause putridity. Whether a wound, or a compost pile, things get real nasty without oxygen.

Instead of scrubbing the internet of idiotic tweets and videos or censoring fools from speaking publicly, we need to let those thoughts face the light of day.

As long as our system remains healthy, the bad ideas will die out. And, like our immune system, exposure to bad agents will help keep us in top shape.
