Two Steps Toward Making a Living Doing What You Love

1. Get a Job

Any job. You don’t need to like it, and it doesn’t need to come with a big paycheck. Just show up and exchange some work for some money.

2. Start a Business

Any business. Find a way to provide a product or service to others that they’re willing to pay for. You need to be able to charge enough that you can afford to hire others at a rate they’re willing to work for, and grow it.

That’s it. Get good at making a living. Do it the easy way. Then do it the harder, but more rewarding and self-directed way. While you’re at it, you may discover some passions, and even your purpose.
