The deck isn’t ever stacked against you

Folks are dealt better or worse hands — life.

To say the deck is stacked against you implies you’re playing against others in a zero sum game.

The reality is closer to we’re all playing a solitaire deck-building game, which we can then take and play with each other. The better our decks, the more exciting it is to link up with other players.
