Poverty mindset on paper

My favorite notebook costs about 8 cents per non-perforated page.

When taking notes, my tendency is to conserve and use as little paper as possible.

I’m currently reading a book with many chapters, each of which take requires about half a page, sometimes a bit more, jotting in my most consolidated fashion.

The result, however, is crowded thoughts. It’s difficult to recognize what the main points are at a glance, and there isn’t room for changes.

If I spent about 3 cents more per chapter, the hard work of assimilating the information, and my increased ability to locate or refresh main points in the future, would obviously return many times the difference in cost. A full page could be dedicated to each chapter, naturally and simply organizing all contents for easier reference. In revisiting the book, I’ll have room to add new revelations.

Don’t let your miserliness cost more than your attempted savings.
