Networking is a waste

If you’re an extrovert, and you love going to networking events and making friends, go for it. Just don’t consider that business development. We all need relaxation, and if rubbing elbows recharges you, you should make time for that.

But the idea of building some network of business relationships to tap into when you are ready to make something happen, it’s like watering and weeding a garden for years and then someday planting tomatoes.

Get to work.

I’ve found that the inertia of a project builds a gravitational force that pulls to it just the right people at just the right time.
