Milk
If there was only one ingredient I could have, for the rest of my life, it would absolutely be milk.
And I would get really good at making all the wonderful things that come from milk — cheese, butter, ice cream, cream, yogurt, kefir… — and probably live a long and healthy life.
The milk I have been enjoying for going on 10 years now is also the most honest and clean food available to me, only our own eggs are closer to us. I’ve been picking up raw milk from the same coolers in front of the same foster home, dropped off each week by the same family from Washington, MO. They graze their cows in concert with nature, regenerating the land, and producing the most wonderful beverage you can consume. It would be an incredibly easy decision to live off the stuff, if that hypothetical day of decision came.
