Inversion Table
Does 33 count as your mid-30’s? That sounds old to me, and has definitely been feeling older. It seems all the bike riding with massive packs and pitchforking all day is taking its toll on my upper-middle back.
Instinct has been telling me I need to get my hang on. I used to do a lot more hanging when I was rock climbing several days a week, that really helped stretch things out.
I finally hopped on Amazon and shopped some options. There was one marked down significantly, stating “new, certified repackaged” or something like that. When it arrived I determined that meant UPS Ace Ventura’d it the first time and that buyer cared more about the box than I do.
It was late before I had a chance to assemble it, but I really wanted to try it out. I’m glad I did, as a couple short sessions last night, and demoing it for Beth this morning had an effect already. It was midday on the farm before I realized things felt sturdier and the familiar pain had noticeably decreased.
It has been fun practicing just now while using a phone. Tilting back is achieved simply by moving your arms back, and engaging with an item in my hand has proven to be a fun index for balance.
