I don’t know about yours, but both my grandpas had a knack for having everything you needed right when you needed it. Chapstick, a little knife, an extra shoe lace, a peppermint patty…

What made me think about this was, on our way to tuck in the chicks, being irritated by a piece of Volpi salami stuck between my top right molars. PawPaw would have had some floss in the glove box, or at the very least a toothpick ready to go.

As I surveyed the car, there were all sorts of items strewn throughout, many we probably won’t ever need (lots of trash included in this category). It also smells really bad because Beth spilled a half gallon of milk in the car Saturday night.

I’m going to try to make sure to prepare and organize better, and hopefully get decent at it before I have kids and they have kids, because this is frustrating…
