Don’t give me the entire map

If I’m unsure how to get somewhere, I want to open Maps as briefly as possible.

My goal is minimum reliance on an app as possible, while at the same time requiring the least possible demand on my biological RAM.

Do I need to know a few turns before a long stretch or what to do when I get closer to my destination? If necessary, I’ll input a few turns into my memory, and a reference when to pull the map again (if I must). And navigation is a last resort.
