There’s the argument that Bitcoin isn’t the “digital gold” some say it is, because gold has its own inherent value. There are many useful industrial, and aesthetic, applications for gold

While you cannot make a fake tooth for someone out of bitcoin, it in fact does have inherent qualities. It requires no central authority, no third parties to verify transactions, is unalterable and un-inflatable — not only are these properties of high worth, they also happen to make for perfect money.
