“Anecdotal”

The very definition and use of the word “anecdotal” is offensive. I guess that makes it a derogatory term?

It implies that firsthand knowledge is not trustworthy, you cannot believe experience and observation.

In fact, there is nothing more valuable than the direct feedback you gain from practice. When it comes to personal skills, there is no substitute.
