Amid Pandemic, Cities Across the Country Release Helpful Job Recommendation Lists
Alright, so the lists coming out from mayors across the country are actually of essential jobs that are allowed to continue despite Coronavirus lock downs.
Farmers, mechanics, tradesmen, hardware stores, food stores, transportation… Really useful, life-sustaining and advancing professions. Pretty much everything except for media.
These are the jobs that when the entire world is under an emergency from a deadly virus, they are deemed important and most go on.
Funny that these careers aren’t the ones that my high school counselor promoted. They aren’t held high in our culture, venerated on television, or promoted by influencers.
But when the transmission of a crazy flu threatens human life on the planet, these are critical enough to break the quarantine.
If you are a teenager (or looking for a job, if not now possibly soon), and not sure what you want to be when you grow up, consider the options detailed in the list below, per St. Louis’s emergency stay home ordinance.

(So, after looking at this list again, it seems nearly everything is exempt from the stay home order… Maybe I was looking at another city, or selectively reading it early. Either way, farm and build stuff!)
