An entrepreneur’s job is to create order for others in a chaotic world. To take resources and organize them in a way that increases their value, ensuring the sum is greater than the parts. Even more, that people want what is provided and are willing to exchange for it.
This task is not accomplished simply by gathering a commodity and marking it up. Even the most basic of businesses at the very least make acquisition more convenient for the patron, and an enlightened organization knows they are providing an entire experience.
Observation, creation, intention, implementation, constant improvement… — these job descriptions are shared by both the entrepreneur and the designer.
